$1.$ On your Windows laptop or PC with a wireless connection. Open the Network and Sharing Center Dialog box from a location in your home.

$2.$ Click on the $$Connect or Disconnect$$ link if available.

$3.$ Mouse over each entry and compile a list of the SSIDs and Encryption protocol used. How many WAPs are not secured by WPA$2?$ Document at least $5$ SSIDs from or near your home location. Be certain to hand in a screen shot of your display. In the event you are in an area that does not yield at least $5$ SSIDs, then try another location such as Starbucks, the APSU Library, the local public library, etc.

$4.$ Include your SSID and encryption protocol.

$5.$ Indicate the names of your WAPs and encryption protocols used.

$6.$ If you are using a Mac or Linux, determine the procedure to list SSIDs or connect to a wireless access point $($WAP$).$

$7.$ If you are using Windows $8.$x$,$ open a command prompt and enter the following command:

netsh wlan show networks.

$8.$ Please do NOT connect to any open network $$ this experiment is to determine the percentage of open networks NOT access them.

$9.$ Hand in an electronic copy of your list of SSIDs and Encryption protocols in Microsoft Word format in the Dropbox for Unit $6$ HW$6$ use filename: lastname.HW$6.$docx.
