#1 - Part 1 Pre-writing Outline 10% Assignment #1 is a three part assignment in which you will work through each phase in the 3x 3 writing process to complete an informal analytical report. Part 1 is the pre- writing portion of the report. According to your textbook, the pre-writing stage is defined as "The first phase of the writing process, which includes analyzing, anticipating, and adapting messages to fit their purpose and audience." Purpose of Assignment: Apply the initial pre-writing concepts of the 3 x 3 writing process that were discussed in Chapter 2: Planning Your Message with the intention of writing an informal analytical report.
