In a cost-cutting initiative, the staff restaurant at ABC Construction has been replaced with a smaller cafe and a coffee shop which is a franchise of a large coffee retailer. The replacement caused many problems. A recent staff survey, which was conducted by the HR department, shows that staff is dissatisfied with both the quality and the healthiness of the food provided in the cafe and also the cost of the coffee outlet. More staff now leave the workplace to buy food, and they complain of the costs and the long queues in local cafes, which mean they often return late to their desks
