Article: Since Sunnova Energy is focusing on giving their customers long-term products, there is an issue that comes with being in an industry that just started growing. Sunnova Energy doesn't know for a fact how their products will do in the long run. There might be issues and complications that arise in the future that was not predicted. Even though they are in a booming market, the market is still unknown.

To further this issue of long-term use, it might become harder to sell the product in the future. Sunnova Energy stands the risk of being in a quick changing environment. Which means that the technology is becoming outdated faster and faster. This might become an issue when customers no longer want to pay the prices for old technology, but new technology is coming out too rapidly to keep up with.

Another issue is not all homes and roofs are made the same. The technology it takes to produce their product and distribute them to residential homes has to be flexible enough to withstand different environments. Sunnova Energy has done a good job so far at being open to these issues and finding solutions. However, with expansion this might become harder if not tackled properly.
