	You are a coordinator in a home and community care service. It is your job to provide counselling and support to new people who are referred to the service. You have received a referral from a local government agency to provide counselling support to Fulya, an 89-year-old Turkish woman. Fulya has agreed that it would be a good idea to have some counselling and arrangements are in place for her first appointment. In preparation you have read her case history and understand from your preparation that, as Fulya has aged, her competency in using and understanding English has diminished. Fulya has resided in her family home for 50 years, since she migrated to Australia with her husband, who passed away nearly 20 years ago. She is estranged from her only son who lives interstate.
