1. The network team is setting up a new windows 10 endpoint PC on the network. We will provide you with the example subnet (x.x.x.x/x format). Please walk us through the steps to make this configuration change (what needs to be input for internet and intranet connectivity). Please provide example name servers and the broadcast address that will be used. (No DHCP for this scenario)

2. Next, we would like to configure an email client and file sharing. (Question will be provided during the interview, be prepared to discuss the related protocols and methods of use)

3. The PC (configured in question 1) needs to be connected to the network. Please provide a logical star-bus topology architecture of equipment. In this case, they would be used for connecting from a fiber ONT from the storage room to the PC located in the workplace office. (Note that there are other PC in the office and there is also a separate server room).

4. Please describe a configuration of how the PC could theoretically route to a server in theserver room. (Cisco model examples of equipment are preferred)

5. The server referenced above needs to have a type 1 hypervisor installed. Please provide examples of available options.

6. A headless ubuntu VM (with ufw allow tcp/22 only) needs to be configured on the above server. It has public key authentication configured and a PEM is accessible to you. Please describe the steps you would take to connect to the routable VM and provide example webserver applications that could be used.

7. Webserver isnt accessible on the intranet nor internet. Please describe steps to make it available to the internet via the public IP on the WAN side of the firewall with limited public exposure. Please then also describe steps on how to connect via localhost binding internally.

8. Security team wants to use a SEIM/SIEM and needs network traffic from the L3 core switch. What options do we have to provide this and how?
