(1) The Term Project is a group project. There will be up to five members in each project team. (2) Each project team is to undertake a hands-on class project involving a topic related to Information System Development, but more importantly, a topic that is of direct interest to you. You will develop a simple Web-based information system that will demonstrate your competence in the planning, development, implementation, and operation of information systems. For example, a Term Project could be: - A simple reservation system (for restaurants, hair salons, hotels, etc.) - A manufacturing support system - A human resources management system - A student records management system - A hospital records management system The topic you select should preferably relate to your social/work environments. If you can produce a report and a Web site that will showcase your skills for your employer, you will benefit both as a student and as an employee. A proposal for the Term Project will be submitted by each project team in week 2. The proposal should be 2-3 pages in length. You will also be able to see the proposals submitted by the other groups. Here is a suggested outline for this
