1) This exercise aims to introduce a platform that allows the use of a collection of data mining tools, WEKA. Weka is an open software project issued under the GNU General Public License and developed by the Machine Learning Group at the University of Waikato, New Zealand.

a) Download and install WEKA. Run the k-means clustering algorithm on the example dataset given in file weather.numeric.arff. Please see the instructions in the WEKA file attachment. Take screenshots of the Weka Explorer window and the Weka Clusterer Visualizer window obtained at Step 11 and paste them here.

b) Use Weka to partition into 3 clusters the data set given in Question 1. You need first to create an .arff file and then follow steps similar to those of Question 3 (a) to construct and display the clusters. Take screenshots of the Weka Explorer window and the Weka Clusterer Visualizer window obtained at Step 11 and paste them here. Compare the final set of clusters you obtained in Question 1 and in Question 3 of this assignment. Are they different? What conclusion can you make?
