However, there could be situations in which intuitive decision-making works. For example,
I do believe thinking intuitively can be taught. It's a skill that can strengthen over time. An intuitive thinker is someone who listens to self and goes with their first instinct. That takes practice.
If we have a deadline and a decision needs to be made quickly, there could be consequences for acting quickly. For example, you can make a wrong decision that could affect other people, safety, finances, etc. If there is an organization that consistently changes, it may give off several messages. Some may prefer this ideology but I believe universally it is frowned upon. An organization that is constantly changing shows that the company lacks foundation and lacks direction.
There are a plethora of practices an organization could deploy to foster intuitive thinkers while minimizing the risk. Meetings that will incorporate factual evidence and opportunities for everyone to express themselves. Intuition decision-making can still be utilized however, it should be supported by the facts to support the decision making.

An individual might use intuition when they have great amounts of experience and are able to rely on the intuition to make the right decision. However, when there are high stakes or the decision makers have discover unknowns or a new aspect of their work it is not wise to try to rely on intuition. An individual might make a change to intuition when they have reached the maturity phase of their career. At this point the individual has dealt with vast problems and obstacles and have the necessary tools to use intuition. I believe in some instances intuition can be taught but with added experience. Intuition can be used in quick decisive positions that needs the ability to think quickly to make the correct decision. However, the correct intuitive decision can not only be taught in a classroom but rather needs the experience to ensure the right decision is being made.
