1. Using Statistics Canada or another credible source, find a set of one-variable data (must be quantitative of course). The data should be "raw" or "ungrouped" - i.e., it should just be a list of values that have not yet been organized.

2. Start by organizing the data into a chart or frequency table.

3. Create a boxplot for the data as well as one or more other appropriate graphical representation (bar chart, pie chart, histogram, etc.). Which one do you think best represents the data? Explain.

4. Calculate the mean, median, mode, standard deviation, and interquartile range for the data (show your work!) Organize these values in a table.

5. Make some inferences about the variable (data) based on your calculations and justify.
