This is an amazing tool-- it allows for you to find where the info is relevant both regionally and internationally. There is so much info doing what I described in the preview-- it combines the quantitative (#) with the qualitative (feelings).
Please head over to the site below and share some examples of what words sell better than others (not my food example above- rather a topic you select that one of your classmates has not posted on please). This tool even breaks down what words are more effective in what cities. Try doing some research on your own.

Some examples of segmenting the market include Hispanic (Mex., Cuban, Puerto Rican), (Men, Lesbians, Bi-Sexual, Transgendered), and Asian (Chinese, Indians, Japanese, Koreans), McDonald's (breakfast, drive-thru, dine-in), or Pro Sports (B2C/individual tickets sales, and B2B/Season Tickets and Luxury Box Suites).
You may have to go walk the dog, go for a drive, or chew some tobacco to come up with an example. I want a business (local, or global) that segments a demographic. Please do some research and share a real marketing effort that segments-- have some data/stats in your example.
