1. Without a warrant, an area can be searched under certain exceptions. One of these is if consent is given. If the police approached a business you owned, stated that there had been complaints of local businesses selling narcotics, and asked to search your business, would you allow them to do so...would you give consent? Why or why not? Demonstrate an analysis of ethical consequences of your chosen actions

2. Explain the difference between larceny and robbery and embezzlement. The first two especially are often referenced interchangeably, but they are in fact separate crimes. Also, please talk to at least one person who owns or works at a business and ask if they understand the 3 crimes listed here. Give your finding and explain why/how those you spoke with did or did not know the definitions of these crimes.

3. Extortion is otherwise known as blackmail. Find an actual case involving this crime and then summarize the case and cite your source. You may not use a case from your text.

4. In criminal actions there are generally 2 sides of attorneys, the prosecution and the defense. Explain the role of each side and then share which role you believe you would be best at if you had the training to practice law. Give your reasoning.

5. Give an example of forgery in a fictional situation where it could occur on a college campus. Be sure to include the legal definition of forgery and apply it to your scenario.
