1)Programs sometimes lose treasured older features when they get updated.

AutoFormat, which has been around for several generations of Excel is "hidden" by default in Excel 2013, so you have to add it to your Quick Access Toolbar in order to use it.

A) Click the Customize Quick Access Toolbar button in the Quick Access Toolbar, then select More Commands. In the dialog box, change the value of the Choose Commands From option from Popular Commands to All Commands. Scroll down the now-longer list of available commands and select AutoFormat. Click the Add > > button, then the OK button.

B) With the worksheets still grouped, apply the Accounting 2 Autoformat to cells A3:C17. Resize the columns if necessary. Ungroup Worksheets.

C) Add a new worksheet before the Smith worksheet.Name this worksheet Summary.

D) Enter the title, Sales Summary 2013 in cell A1.Merge and Center cells A1:D1. Type the labels Salesperson, Total Sales, Total Commission, and Bonus into cells A3 through D3, respectively.

E) Using simple "3-D" formulas, place each salesperson's name in the rows of column A, their Total Sales in column B, and Total Commission in column C.Apply the Accounting 2 Autoformat to cells A3:D9.

F) Enter a VLookup formula in the Bonus column (D) for each salesperson that will look up their Sales in the Bonus Table and retrieve the correct Bonus Amount. Make sure that your formula can be copied down the column.

G) Add a row of Total calculations to the bottom of columns B through D; adjust formatting so all data is visible.
