$2$ Abstract Transport Layer Security $($TLS$)$ is a protocol that has been created to secure a communication connection. This layer comes after the SSL and has experienced numerous updates to resolve several weaknesses existing in network communication. TLS architecture and its evolution, distinctive features, as well as the place of this protocol in modern communications, are thorough described in the paper. Besides, the paper analyzes the infrastructure of TLS protocols such as ciphers, algorithms, and handshake as well as practical applications and contemporary problems of this protocol. $[1]$
