2. Create a spreadsheet containing data from your routine work environment. Use the spreadsheet you have created to complete the following processes:

Use functions and/or formulae within the spreadsheet where appropriate

Create an appropriate graph to represent the data

Automate at least one process in your spreadsheet

Name, save and store the document appropriately in line with organisational requirements.

Print the spreadsheet, containing all the information you have added (including graphs, etc.) and attach this to your workbook.

3. Identify three problems or difficulties you have encountered with using Excel or creating a spreadsheet. Consult the relevant user documentation or seek online help to find solutions to each problem. Write a short summary for each, outlining the problem and proposed solutions. This can be written in your workbook or attached on separate paper to your workbook.

4. Identify a spreadsheet you would commonly use in the workplace. Evaluate the spreadsheet to determine its efficiency for the required tasks. Briefly outline the key ways how and why its efficiency could be improved and write down your findings (in your workbook or on separate paper attached to your workbook).

5. Create a template spreadsheet for a task of your choosing that could serve as a model across the business. Ensure that the template adheres to design, style and layout consistency within organisational requirements. Put together an email to send to relevant colleagues who might find this template useful, attaching the template and explaining how the email conforms of necessary requirements.

6. From another spreadsheet supplied to you, identify a macro that already exists and edits the macro to make it serve a different purpose. Save your work to your computer.
