Answer is 0.017miles A small herd of cattle consumes 14 bales of hay in two weeks. How many bales will the herd consume in a year? There is 52 weeks in 1 year so 52 divided by 2 so 26 weeks times the 14. Answer 364. f. You are traveling at a rate of 67 miles per hour. You pass by a state trooper who is on the side of the road with his radar set for 100 feet per second. Are you speeding? Show all of your mathematical calculations to get credit. No because 1 mile is 5280 feet so if you divide 5280 by 100 the answer is 52 Now, to see if you really understand the method we use for unit conversions, it shouldn't matter what type of "stuff" you are converting, so do the next two problems. a.
