2) Share what interested you in taking this course and what you hope to get from taking the course. There have been college-wide discussions regarding concerns with grading in online courses. Students are earning grades of D, F, and WU- unofficially withdrawals which result in a 0.0 GPA for the course, in disproportionately higher numbers as compared to in- person courses. There are many theories as to the reason this is occurring and I wanted to engage the class in a discussion about these concerns. 3) How do you think students need to manage online coursework differently from in-person courses?
