How you would determine if the design was acceptable or not in terms of each of those three things? if unacceptable, what improvements could you make? Example: Check the standing workstation to ensure that the height of the surface is adjustable, there's sufficient legroom, and there is an option for alternating between sitting and standing. If a stool is provided for the option to sit at the standing workstation, the stool should also be adjustable. If the height of the work surface is not adjustable, consider an adjustable platform to either raise the worker to the surface or the surface to the worker. If there is not sufficient legroom, consider moving the workstation away from the wall or whatever is obstructing the amount of legroom. If there is not an option to alternate standing with sitting, add a stool to allow for the option if the worker could safely perform the task while sitting; if not, ensure that the worker has task rotation to allow for sitting at another task. (This would be ONE thing to check; you need to have THREE, and cannot use this example as one of your options.)
