Read at least one of the four descriptive paragraphs on the website Model Descriptions: Four Descriptive Paragraphs (new tab). Think of a place you would like to describe. If you are planning to revise your memoir from Workshop One this week, it would be a good idea to choose a place that was included in your memoir. If it is possible, actually go to the place and complete this assignment there - this will make the description much easier. Write a one-paragraph description of the place, appealing to at least three of the five senses (sight, hearing, smell, touch, taste). Minimum length is 300 words.
