Question: 2ty' = 4y, y(-1) = -2. Determine the largest interval of the form a

2ty' = 4y, y(-1) = -2.

Determine the largest interval of the form

a

What is the actual interval of existence for the solution (from part a)?

Note: I thought both of the answers left endpoint for the intervals would be -1 since that's the initial t, but I'm being told that's wrong by this question. Last time I asked this question on here the tutor put -2 as the left endpoint and that was incorrect too. I just thought I share that. So like I'm putting -1<= t < 0 and -1 <= t < infinity and the question is telling me the only thing I don't understand is just the left endpoint of both intervals.
