3. Mapping supply chains is an essential skill for logistics professionals. The flow chart/system must start from the suppliers location to the 3PL in Canada, and end at the customer site. For this challenge, you are to map the portion of the overall supply chain that involves one supplier to the 3PL. The second portion of your challenge will map BPWs the supply chain from the 3PL to an international clients location. This includes modal selection, warehouse, or distribution centre selection (existing and any additions or elimination if you so choose) and the supply chain intermediaries. This snapshot of two parts of your extensive distribution system must include a flow chart that is fully supported by an extensive, detailed, written explanation and support for each part of your supply chain selections. The list of supply chain components listed in this paragraph is not exhaustive. You are free to reduce or increase the components, so long as you can justify the use or non-use of components. Your system must also include one or more quality control points. The location of those points must be justified. You need to involve a minimum of four (4) links and four (4) nodes for each of the two supply chains employed by BPW.
