Construction projects have many variables and complexities. In the initial phase, one must consider the construction type, whether it is new, renovation, or conservation. Likewise, conditions such as size, budget, location, and time are important determinants and established in the construction documents.

In the construction phase, when the actual physical construction of the project starts, a detailed schedule is one of the key elements of construction. Experienced project managers have acquired skills to identify crucial construction activities for project development and their ripple effect in other task groups.
