The recent news to take match group of services to Initial Public Offering (IPO) is the testimony itself (Bloomberg, 2015). The match.com business contributes significant revenues to the IAC and now the spin off from the conglomerate to a separate unit does show the value created over the years. Diller built the match.com through acquisitions of its competitors to position as a universal dating site for online users. Although, IAC did inject money into individual businesses to ourish and diversification did help them to look at each market differently, Diller leadership lacked a strong vision to unify the brands. The end user still know the brand but not IAC and its subsidiaries
