4 Lab Report [I Experiment 7": Simple Harmonic Motion To conduct the simple harmonic motion experiment, the main items needed was the support rods and clamps. These two items served as dte base and support for the pendulum bo and the massspring system. In part A the pendulum requires a brass and wooden ball. The tw type of balls were attached to two strings which helped measure the different lengths and amplitudes of the balls to measure the frequency using a u'rner. In part B- and C, the items required was one brass and one steel spring. Both springs were set up exactly the same way as part A. The initial length of the spring was measured using a meter stick. The final length was found after adding the set of masses to the bottom of each spring
