4.NUMBER 4 Chunky is a publicly listed company. Details of Chunky's non-current assets at 1st October 2012 were: Land and Plant Total Building Sm Sm Sm Cost/Valuation 330 175 ? The following information is relevant: On 1st Oct 2007: $130 million - the land and $200 million to the building (useful life 25 years) until 1st Oct 2012: when the land and building were revalued at $ 140 million and $ 160 million respectively. The remaining estimated life of the building: 20 years. 2. Plant is depreciated at 25% per annum on cost On 1st April 2013 new plant costing $ 35 million was acquired. In Addition, this plant cost $8 million to install and commission. No plant is more than 4 years old.
