Question:
5. To determine whether the habit of watching shows with violent scenes on TV influences the tendency of individuals to behave violently or aggressively, a controlled study was conducted. One aspect of this research is as follows:
A group of children is matched as best as possible according to family circumstances, heredity, intelligence, parental attitudes and so on in order to reduce factors other than TV that may affect the tendency of violent and aggressive behavior.
Obtained 7 pairs of children. For each pair, a child is taken randomly and given the treatment of watching "hard" TV shows (war films, martial arts, freestyle boxing, etc.) while the others watch comedy / comedy films etc. for some time.
Then the children were measured by a system of testing their aggressive / violent factors. The score for rough behavior is on the ordinal scale, the greater the score means the more violent / aggressive.
