Premium beef is small manufacturing company in Kwa Zulu Natal that previously employed a number of 80 workers in total, however due to the looting and rest that took place in KZN from the 9^th to the 18^{th of} July 2021. The company had to let go of 50% of its staff since all their livestock was looted and company property was destroyed.

The company is now at a better financial point and is looking to hire 10 Band saw operators. Thabo the supervisor was appointed this task. Thabo than hired the needed staff and assigned duties to them prior to giving them the necessary training.

One of the workers cut his hand while operating the machine and is now deemed unfit to work.

5.3.1 Why should organizations train employees and what are the techniques that Thabo the supervisor could have used to prevent this from happening? (10)
