Soil between $2\mathrm{.}5$ to $4\mathrm{.}5m,$ silt and sand with traces of gravel; $0N$

$8,$ is prone to liquefaction.

The geotechnical engineer recommended a shallow foundation, buried at a

depth of $+-1\mathrm{.}7m,$ provided the problematic soil is improved or replaced.

Recommend the "most" adequate soil improvement$/$replacement method

to make the design recommendations possible.
