She has just returned home after spending over a week in hospital, where she was treated and supervised. She lives at home with her husband and has been referred to your health clinic for regular appointments and to devise a health care plan. Mrs Foley has been experiencing high blood pressure over the past year, and although she takes ACE inhibitors and calcium channel blockers, she doesn't always remember to take them. She is a regular smoker but has agreed to try and give up following her heart attack. She says that she has tried to stop smoking in the past using a variety of different methods, but has found it very difficult, especially because her husband continued to smoke at home. Mrs Foley has become highly anxious that she will have a repeat heart attack and fears that her stress levels could contribute to her high blood pressure levels
