Knowing that he needed iron to build artilleries, in 1236, Osson approached Germania for irons. Germania then was the land of the Barbarians. They were fiercely known for metal made artilleries. An average Barbarian makes ten arrows in five hours and a Swede will make two arrows in five hours. Swedes were known for their skills in fur blankets. They live in one of the coldest part of Europe. On average, a Swede will make 20 fur blankets in five hours while a Barbarian makes four fur blankets, The Barbarians asked Osson to pay with Germania bear bone. Trade between Germania and Sweden increased to record high in 1240. By this time, polar bear bones were used in major cities of Europe. In 1245, Germania asked Sweden if they could only produce fur blankets while they produce only irons. A treaty was signed and both countries produced only one good. He elected one of his close associates named Emesson to head the production of the bones. By 1265, Osson wanted to extend his empire to Persia. By 1267, Osson has amassed huge resources, but the economic growth slowed down.
