A company is considering what it can do about the impending obsolescence of the sales order processing system it uses for some of its products.

A. Identify a longlist (9-10) of options that your group recommends during brainstorming, to tackle this issue. Some ideas could be quite radical, or may even seem they have to be eliminating as soon as the idea is aired because they seem to be rather Off the Wall.

B. Use feasibility analysis to get your initial longlist down to a more manageable shortlist. Determine which elements of feasibility study you have used to create the shortlist of options.

C. Use the Force-Field analysis and indicate a few positive and negative forces for those options you have brainstormed.

D. Use cost-benefit analysis and determine some of the benefits and costs of your recommended options.
