A contour change between two linear entities often includes a blend arc. Blend arc is an arc that is tangent to the two adjacent entities and has a known radius. It can be a defined functional radius, or just a corner break with a small radius selected by the CNC programmer. In either case, the objective of this project is to calculate the two XY points of a blend arc, when the arc is dimensioned to a sharp point.
