A fuel delivery system (for question 5.1 and 5.2) A petrol station() is to be set up for fully automated operation. Drivers insert their credit card into a card reader connected to this system. The pump(a mechanical device to deliver the fuel) is also connected to this system. The card is verified by communication with the credit company computer; and a fuel limit is established. If the card is valid, the system initializes the pump and is ready to deliver fuel. Activating the trigger causes fuel to be pumped; this stops when the trigger is released. When fuel delivery is complete, the driver's credit card account is debited with the cost of the fuel taken. The credit card is returned after debiting.
