A independent-sample t test was conducted to determine whether a sample of sixteen employees of a child hunger organization, describe child hunger using factual information or "identifiable victim" scenario using one victim as an example. Figure 1 illustrates the distribution of the sample scores. The results indicate a significant difference between the group who attend daily activities (M=18.8, SD=7.4) and the group who do no participate in daily activities (M=35.6, SD=11.2) from the Satisfaction with Life Scale, t(14)= 3.6, p=.002.
