with a single stage cementing operation. The casing is to be

cemented with Class A cement with which it is expected

that $5\%$ bentonite would be added. The details of the

condition, it is assumed that the conventional industry

considers $25\%$ excess cement slurry volume as the

contingency. Calculate the cement slurry volume and
