A manufacturing facility is trying to finalize its work schedule for the next day. There are fourdifferent jobs available ( A__,B_,C_,D_), and we must determine which of the jobs to work on and howmuch time to devote to them. There are 24 hours of labor that must be scheduled, and there isa limit for each job on the amount of time that we can spend on them in a day. There is also afixed startup-cost associated with any job that we decide to work on and an hourly cost ofworking on any job. The limits and costs for each job are in the below table. Some additionalrequirements are i ) if job C is worked on, then job D must also be worked on and (ii) that wecannot work on both job A and job C. Finally, we must ensure that, if we decide to work on aparticular job, then we spend at least one hour on that job.
