This is because jazz musicians past and present have frequently ohosen to perform numbers from a "canon" of jacz standards which they can perform several times over in their career-each time with different interpretations, collaborating with different personnel, being reconded by different record labels. The jazz database will contain pertinent data (listed below) to meet user needs. Specific requirements include the following: - Database administration / other authorized users must be able to add or update infomation of musicians (demographics, primary instrument, secondary instrument, cte.), songs, albums, and record labels. - The database must allow users to locate albums by song title (or fragments of the titie) and ot performer.
