A Microprocessor Microcontroller Based Control System
Figure : Microprocessor Microcontroller Based Control System
Task to be done
MicroprocessorsMicrocontrollers are used to control the functions of embedded systems in
office machines, robots, home appliances, motor vehicles, and a number of other gadgets as
shown in Figure
Each group have to develop microprocessormicrocontroller control system that could monitor
one or more input parameters and control one or more output devices in an application that
adheres to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Clean Water and Sanitation
The solutions should engender to Ensure availability and sustainable management of water
and sanitation for all and should focus on one on the goals targets and indicators. The input
and output parameters are to be displayed in the display unit. The assignment has to be carried
as a group work with individual components. The group has to come up with the problem
statement and propose a solution to the problem with the help of a
microprocessormicrocontroller using appropriate simulation software. Each team member
of the group has to involve and develop the assigned task by the group leader. A group can
have three students.
Stage a Individual Work Controlled Input Output, Interface Design, Programme
Development and Display
Identify the electronic circuit interface for the controlled input output of the control
system.
Outline the interface with justification of technical and logical reasons.
Outline the programme that can accept data from control input, process the data, and
control the controlled output.
Outline the enhancement done.

Stage Group Integrated System
Display and Exemplify the final integrated system.
Complete control system is to be integrated. That is all the individual work carried out
by the team members must be integrated. Final system development construction and
testing and evaluation should be done in group. Each team has to present their work at
the end of the semester.
Project Management
Each group must elect one group leader. The leader monitors the project and assigns
task to the members.
The progress of the group work has to be updated for the last two weeks to the module
lecturer.
