a) Mr. Ocantey is responsible for setting up a local area network (LAN) in the engineering department of Accra Institute of Technology (AIT). A LAN consists of a number of individual computers connected to a centralised computer or file server. Each computer in the LAN can access information from the file server and communicate with the other computers in the LAN. Installing a LAN involves connecting all the computers together with communications cables.
