I am the operations manager at Interpretu. We specialize in a technology hardware device $($Language Learning Device: LLD$)$ that uses artificial intelligence to foster conversational learning in the Language Learning Market. We currently operate in Pennsylvania with $$50$ million annual revenues in the United States. Due to our success, we are planning to expand into Mexico.

$($b$)$ International business strategy:

$($i$)$ The core competence of our firm is its ability to utilize artificial intelligence $($AI$)$ to perpetually update and improve its functionality. Although other language learning platforms exist, they specialize in basic skills and mechanical grammar, and are not reciprocal. The strength of our firm is that it can deliver the benefits of language immersion from the comfort of the home. By coordinating with our software application, users can converse with an AI model while also checking software for accuracy and tips for improvement. Our product $($LLD$)$ satisfies three of the four components of the VRIN model. It is valuable, rare and non$-$substitutable. Inimitability is the only component not fully satisfied from the VRIN model.$$

$($iii$)$ Our firm$$s core competence is most heavily reliant on a successful research and development function. The nature of hardware driven by AI and a software app relies most heavily on the ongoing research and perpetual movement of the linguistic material. Moving our research and development function to a foreign country would be irrelevant to its relationship to the components of the VRIN model. Our material is based on internationally recognized linguistic standards and our research operations driven by recognized experts in their respective languages.$$
