A patient on your unit gets discharged. While cleaning the room for the next patient, you find an expensive watch in the drawer in the bedside table. Its a womans watch and the former patient was a man. 4. When you open up your paycheck, you realize that you got paid for a day that you didnt work. 5. As a research assistant, your salary is funded by a federal grant. If the research gets positive results, the grant and your job will get renewed for another year. Your best friend, who works in the same department you do, asks you to clock her out at 3:00 pm so that she can leave work at 2:00 pm to attend her daughters dance recital. 9. A new supervisor schedules you to perform a procedure using new technology that was just installed but you dont feel competent to do so. 10. While working in a nursing home you notice a staff member who doesnt close the door when helping a resident use the bathroom. 11. You read a coworkers blog and discover that shes making up false stories about one of the nurses who work in your practice. 12. You suspect that your manager may be changing payroll information to increase the paycheck of one of her friends who works in the same department.
