A performance appraisal is an evaluation of a person's behaviors and work accomplishments in an organization.  With the prevalence of teams in organizations now it has become more challenging for supervisors to conduct traditional performance appraisals.  This is especially true for self-directing teams where the supervisor is not present enough to fully evaluate the contributions of each team member.  How do you think individual team members should be evaluated?  Should the team itself be charged with designing its measurement system?  What do you think is the best way for the team projects in this course to be evaluated? By the professor, the team, or both?
