A QMS can provide a systematic approach to lean process improvement. It can help identify quality issues, eliminate unnecessary activities, and close gaps in performance. The purpose of a Quality Management System is to provide a formal system of tools and processes and allow certification via an independent agency. Process improvement and being lean go hand in hand. For example, a company might design a survey system, review process, or call center. Businesses can document and record customer data to track and ensure quality. According to scripture, God created Earth for mankind, and we are now stewards of His creation. This means it is our responsibility to look after and take care of this world. We should accept this responsibility and appreciate God's gift of creation for being our home. Our stewardship of creation involves the caretaking of the environment and animals as well as our families and communities. It means being responsible beyond the individual or company, and in the long-term beyond one's lifetime.
