a response to Hello class, The question for this week that I will be answering is, "How does any particular cosmology address the human problem?" According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, Cosmology is "a branch of metaphysics that deals with the nature of the universe." In simpler terms, it is he study of the universe's nature and how it functions at a fundamental level. The problem that a lot of humans have is questioning where life came from and what the purpose of living is. These questions are seen as deep and philosophical, yet the question will still linger, "What is the purpose of living?". Cosmology looks into the fundamental physical structures of the universe that compose the framework within the possibility of human existence. Science can give humans a type of understanding of our existence because it explores the evolution, physicality, and mentality of human life, as well as explaining the natural world around us and how it came to be. Although cosmology can be seen in a scientific light, it can also lead individuals towards a more spiritual understanding.
