A simulation is to be conducted for a simplified version of the Fresh Thyme grocery store. The store has three aisles: aisle 1: fruits/vegetables, aisle 2: packaged goods (cereals, crackers, cookies, and the like), and aisle 3: meat/fish. Assume customers arrive individually with a mean interarrival time of 5 minutes (exponentially distributed). After arriving at the store front, each customer grabs a shopping cart and starts shopping. The store currently has a total of 15 carts. If a customer cannot find a cart when he/she arrives, he/she leaves immediately. For those customers who got a cart, 70% of them go to aisle 1, 50% of them go to aisle 2, 60% of them go to aisle 3. Note a customer may go to multiple aisles, and his/her decision of entering one aisle is independent to the decision of entering another aisle (That is why the three probabilities do not add up to 100%)
