A small epidemiological study was carried out in which we selected 100 women over the age of 60 with endometrial (uterus) cancer and 100 women over the age of 60 without endometrial cancer. All 200 women were contacted and asked, "Were you obese at age 50?" Among those with endometrial cancer, 75 said they were obese at age 50; among those without endometrial cancer, 60 said they were obese at age 50.
