A transformational leader is one to create and share an inspiring vision, be a role model for followers, give tasks to those who will perform them well. An example of a transformational leader would be Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon. His goal to grow amazon was to focus on developing new and better ideas. Jeff Bezos was known for hiring the best people to fit roles. He kept reinvesting money back into his business in the beginning to continually grow it, and it obviously worked out well for him. Bill Gates is an example of a transactional leader. He concentrated on clear, measurable goals. His approach was to have detailed planning, have employees fulfill project deadlines all while maintaining a high quality of product.
