A triangular flower bed is to be created. The following figure represents the layout of the flower bed. How many feet of landscape edging would be required to outline the edge of the bed? One side is 12ft the other side is 13ft. I am supposed to do a^2+b^2=c^2 to solve it so it should be 12^2+13^2=C^2 then whatever C^2 is should be added to 12+13 to get the answer is. But every time I try to solve it I get the wrong answer. Please see the right hand image for the problem
