(a) Using the data from the previous exercise, now make another plot of beetles trapped against board color, but this time arranging the colors in the order used in the table (alphabetical). Notice how different the two graphs look, although the same information is displayed. Explain why.

(b) What do you think a graph of the same data would look like if you arranged the colors in the reverse order of the previous exercise? Is one graph more acceptable than the others?

(c) Some statistical software packages do not allow the use of text for data and force you o use numerical codes instead (for example, blue = 1, green = 2, and so on). Point out the potential danger when creating graphs like the ones you made for this beetle problem.
