The vessel arrived at Hong Kong on 23rd June and began discharging but did not complete it until 23rd July. The Charterers repudiated the charter-party on 17th July on the ground that there had been a breach of the "expected ready to load" clause set out in the charter-party. Were the charterers right in repudiating the charter-party? Explain your answer. 10 marks
